Conference 2007

Location: Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa
Preconference workshops - November 9, 2007 (4 hour programs)
Concurrent sessions - November 10 and 11, 2007 (45 minute programs)
Conference Theme: Productivity and Assessment in Libraries
Libraries are under increasing pressure to demonstrate outcomes and to maximize the use of their resources. This conference focuses on how libraries can increase and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of services and the satisfaction of users. We hope to identify technologies and practices that will aid us in improving library productivity and assessing library impact.
The Hawaii Library Association is accepting proposals to present preconference workshops and concurrent session programs at its 2007 Annual Conference.
Although we will consider any presentation that is interesting, entertaining, and potentially useful to the HLA community, programs reflecting the conference theme, "Productivity and Assessment in Libraries," are encouraged.
