Section Chairs
Section Chair Responsibilities
Chairs assume office at the end of the Annual Conference.
Each chair shall be a member of the section chaired.
Duties:
- Appoint such officers or committees as may be needed to plan and implement section activities.
- Prepare annual budget for the section and submit it to the Treasurer. Submit receipts and documented requests for reimbursement for section expenses in a timely manner to the Treasurer.
- Sponsor a session at the Annual Meeting and as many other activities during the rest of the year as the members of the section may wish to plan and implement, within guidelines and overall budget set forth by the Executive Board.
- Keep section members informed about section activities. Report on section activities at the Executive Board meetings. Submit articles and announcements pertaining to section activities to the Newsletter Editor in a timely manner. Submit an annual report of activities to the President one month prior to the Annual Conference.
